One of the most popular forms of survey; a HomeBuyer Report is used to assess the overall condition of newer properties or properties that are less than 150 years old. In the case of potential buyers, whether they are first time buyers or experienced landlords, surveyors will always recommend a HomeBuyer Report to ensure that there are no nasty surprises later on in the purchase process when it comes to repairs needed on the property.
A professional surveyor will assess the condition of the property in question, looking at all visible and accessible areas of the property and giving feedback. A Market Valuation of the property may also be included in the assessment. This assessment will generally take between two and three hours depending on the size and type of property assessed. A typed up report will follow the initial assessment, including professional advice on whether or not any repairs are needed.
Residential –
An experienced surveyor will always recommend a Building Survey for residential properties, whether in Crewe or the surrounding area. Also known as a ‘full structural survey’, the building survey is a more detailed report designed for older properties, listed properties and properties of a non-traditional or altered structure.
